Arturo Correa

Born June 18, 1967 in Valencia, Venezuela. He graduates as a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA, and in 1998 he becomes a Master of Arts at Studio Art, New York University, USA.

He has carried out outstanding individual shows in Valencia, Caracas, Maracaibo, Connecticut, Florida, New York, as well as in national salons and collective shows in and out of his country. He had a remarkable participation in permanent installations and projects such as The Carrousel of Life, 2003, in 2525 Ponce de León, Florida, USA, a 47-meter-long installation-mural. Tarde de toros, 2005, is a 700 x 400 x 200 cm poster exhibited on occasion of the 5th International Fair of Valencia (celebrating 450 years of the city’s foundation). Proyecto Quinta La Calle, 2007, which he attended as a guest artist, was carried out during the 25th Annual Music & Art Convention, in Singapore.
