Ascaso Gallery reaches Florida to offer the people of Miami and its surroundings a new alternative for cultural and artistic interaction, fostering encounters, introducing proposals of various tendencies and projecting many different manifestations of Latin American art in their salons.
Dedicated to universal art of all ages, Ascaso Gallery emphasizes the exhibition and trading of works by Venezuelan artists, consecrated maestros as well as new talents.
Its branch in Caracas and its headquarters in Valencia possess as their most precious assets a lengthy trajectory and well-earned prestige in the art market, offering the Venezuelan public an important portfolio of artists and works, characterized by the ample variety of their exhibitions and unmatched quality of their services.
Based in Miami and Caracas, Venezuela, with over 30 years of experience, the Gallery has focused on modern and contemporary art, representing and promoting Latin American and International consecrated masters and mid-career artists.
Each year, these spaces housed individual and collective shows endorsed by first-rate curatorial work and complemented with catalogs and other publications.
The gallery has undertaken representation of Latin American masters such as Jesús Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz Diez, Luis Tomasello, Victor Vasarely, Victor Valera, Dario Pérez Flores, Oswaldo Vigas, Julio Larraz, Francisco Narváez, Fernando Botero, Carlos Medina, James Mathison, among others. Ascaso Gallery’s collection also encompasses Jim Dine, Jeff Koons, Alexander Calder, Henry Moore, Salvador Dalí, Manolo Valdés, Tom Otterness, Roberto Matta, Wilfredo Lam, Fernando de Szyszlo, Rolando Peña, Vik Muñiz, and Francisco Salazar, among others.
On December 2019, Ascaso Gallery opened a new location with over 11,500 square feet in Miami’s blooming Arts & Entertainment District, one block from the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, with a solo show by Master Julio Larraz.
In addition, the gallery takes part in several international art fairs such as Art Miami, Expo Chicago, The Armory Show, and Frieze in New York.
